Update! Release of Elevation of the Marked

I have been shamefully neglecting my blog of late, as all of my attention has been focused on completing Elevation and on my move to Korea. Well, now I’m in Korea again and the book is finally available! ! It will be made available on all the other major stores soon.

This novel has been quite the journey. I’ve learned a lot about the craft and about myself as a writer over the past 15 months of writing. In a lot of ways this book was much more difficult for me than the first. Likely, in part, this is because it was a more difficult year in my life, but also because it’s a very different kind of story.

There is always a certain anxiety that comes with hitting the ‘publish’ button–I’m feeling that now, for certain. But that anxiety is tempered by the knowledge that I’m proud of this novel. I put a lot of myself into it, and I think I will always have a fondness for my characters as they are in this story.

I promise to be a more diligent blogger here on out!

Thanks to all of my supporters for the wonderful encouragement.

Enjoyed this sequel and hope we get some further interaction that rounds out Su-Hwan and her autistic tendencies in the next book. I have enjoyed the originality of this story line.
